Optimizing Your CarPlay Listening with RSS Podcasts
RSS Podcasts integrates seamlessly with Apple CarPlay, making it easy to enjoy your favorite podcasts safely while on the road. You can also tailor what shows appear in CarPlay to match your listening preferences during drives.
How to Customize Your CarPlay Experience in RSS Podcasts
To adjust which podcasts show up in CarPlay:
- Open the RSS Podcasts app.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll down and select In Car.
- Under Filter Shows, choose how you'd like your podcast list to appear when using CarPlay:
Available Filter Options:
- None (default): All shows are shown
- Short Shows: Only shows with shorter durations
- Long Shows: Displays longer-format content
- Favourite Shows: Shows you've marked as favorites
- Part Played: Shows you’ve started but not finished
- New Shows: Recently added episodes
- Downloaded Shows: Shows available for offline listening
- Unplayed Shows: Episodes you haven’t started yet
- Played Shows: Shows you’ve already completed
Note: Your selected filter is only active while using Apple CarPlay and does not affect your main podcast library in the app.
